9 Provinces Participated in Archipelago Maulid Festival

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat opened IX Archipelago Maulid Festival at Jakarta Islamic Centre (JIC), Friday (11/27). As much as 9 provinces joined as festival participants.

“This festival is a form of moslem love
to Muhammad Prophet. I hope we can take his attitude as a good example and apply
it in our daily life,” he expressed, Friday (11/27).
The festival is aimed to develop
and nurture Islam spirit as a region that rahmatan lil alamin (blessing for the
universe). Thus it creates tolerant people and love among human being.
“This is also as anticipation way
against terrorism,” he remarked.
Separately, here are 9 provinces, Bangka
Belitung, Bengkulu, Jambi, Nusa Tenggara Barat, West Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, West Java, Central Java, and DKI
Jakarta.
